Things to Do

There is lots of great food in the upper valley but below are some of or local Woodstock favorites

- Worthy Kitchen (any meal, best fried chicken)

- Prince and Pauper (great for dinner, where the Clarks and Halls met for the first time!)

- Cloudland farm (great for dinner, the location of our first date)

- Bentleys (all meals)

- Mon Vert Cafe (incredible breakfast)

- Simon Pearce (fabulous for all meals, dining room overlooks the waterfall)

There are wonderful stores throughout main street in Woodstock. If you are willing to drive a bit, the below stores are Woodstock originals and absolutely worth a visit

- Andrew Pearce - handmade wooden salad bowls, plates and wood cutting boards

- Simon Pearce - many of these glass blown products are seen in stores across the country but this is their flagship and there is a working factory below the showroom where there are glass blowing demonstrations

- Farmhouse Pottery - handmade pottery that is in traditional white and tan and you will find all over our house!

Skiing (dependent on snow levels)

- Killington (30 minutes away, will be open)

- Suicide Six (5 minutes away, potentially open)

Cross Country:

- Woodstock Country Club (details TBD)
